Preface

Sometime in May 2026, I randomly googled myself and was disappointed for two reasons: the information misrepresented my shape, and I was being confused with other Aryas. I wanted to chip toward fixing that. So this website exists to showcase all of my content.

It also hosts discursive pieces like Lighthouse, which puts layers of everyday tech people never notice under a spotlight.

Through making Lighthouse I realized the internet is now overrun by bots — dead internet theory is alive. So clearly I needed to be future-forward and design for robots to read this website too. Funny to say, but there was a fair deal of robot-centered design behind this architecture.

Reading Citrini and Alap Shah's The 2028 Global Intelligence Crisis,* I wanted the implications without all the methods — the volume made the material difficult to interact with. That's why the writing here has three layers: the story down the middle, the technical detail in blue, and the personal context in red.

Designers pride themselves on their tools: the cold, exact calipers, the perfectly weighted pen, the thick, toothy paper. I am forever envious of that. Tools exist so I can emulate that in software — and edge out the designers, because my tools are easily shared.

There's stuff that's hard to cluster. I threw all of that, randomly, in Play.
